So what’s a gal to do when she has a vampire trying to claim her, and a vampire hunter who has dreamed of her for years? Not what you may expect, and that’s a good thing.
The heroine in this book, Kyra, isn’t the swooning type, but a strong independent woman who has a
“protector.” From the very beginning of the book you witness Kyra’s loyalty and strength. She’s a
great kick-ass woman! All the characters are well written, and the author does a
great job of sucking you into Kyra’s world with her writing style. There’s action, and hot sex.
As someone who has read a lot of vampire stories, I thought I might be in for another standard vamp tale, but have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Whispers in the Dark should be a recommended read.
