Q: I have submitted a book to your site. How long will it take before I see the completed review?
A: It depends. Since our reviewers pick the books they would like to review and we only have a limited amount of actual reviewers, we cannot give authors a specific timeframe that the review will be completed in.
Q: Will you let me know when my review has been completed?
A: Yes. You will receive an email, along with a link to the review once it has been completed and posted to our site.
Q: Do you post the completed reviews on other sites such as Amazon, etc?
A: We post all completed reviews on our site, a portion of the review on Goodreads with a link back to our site, post a link to the completed review on our FB page, and tweet about the completed review. Currently we are not posting a portion of the review or the completed review on Amazon and other book sites.
Q: I want my publisher to have a copy of the review. Can they post your review of my book to their site?
A: Yes. Publishers may post copies of the completed review to their site as long as a statement accompanies the review, allowing readers know where the review comes from (The Talent Cave Reviews.)
Q: I have filled out one of your on-line forms and have not heard back from you.
A: We do answer every query submitted (on-line forms/direct email). If you have not heard back from us within a couple of days, please check your spam mail.
Q: I received a less than favorable review and would like it removed from your site and Goodreads.
A: The Talent Cave Reviews is a hosting site to review/advertise authors work; all reviews are completed by independent reviewers, and their opinion/review of your work is their own. Your review will not be removed because you do not like the review.
Q: Do you offer any free advertising options to authors?
A: Yes. The specifics can be found under our Advertising tab.
Q: I wish to take advantage of your Guest Blogger option, but need a specific day for the spot to go live.
A: We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please be aware that any Guest Blogger requests are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
