"So," she said as she let her shoulder lean against the door frame, "this is where the magic happens."


Marc turned around, startled. "That's the worst line. Nothing I do is magic, it's all skill."


Hannah gawked at him and his innuendo.



He zipped his faded blue hoodie and took two long strides over to her, pulling her from the doorway and holding her close to his chest. His hands ran from her waist up her back and came around to cup her face.



At first, Marc kissed her with the same languid pace he did as they'd kissed though out the night, but it swiftly became aggressive and desperate. "Don't go. I need more of you," Marc said between frantic kisses. "Sleep here. I'll take you home on my way to the restaurant."


Hannah tried to remember why she needed to go home, but the reasons escaped her. The tip of Marc's tongue running against her lips took all the thoughts her brain had ever produced and chopped them into tiny pieces of mismatched annoyances she was convinced would never become whole coherent thoughts again.

Theme: 

We've all heard of "Murphy's Law", well in this anthology, all the stories must be romances with a Murphy's Law twist. Perhaps the heroine is accident prone and stumbles (literally) into the hero at the grocery store. Maybe a series of
strange mishaps brings the hero and heroine together. Bring us your tales of bad luck gone romantically right. Submissions can be historical or contemporary.

• Submissions must be romances with a HEA/HFN ending for the main characters.


• Stories must be at least 5K but should not exceed 10K words.


• New Adult Genre stories will be considered for this anthology.


• Stories must adhere to the anthology call's theme to be considered.
